ASKION offers a platform for automated fluorescence microscopy for beginners (FluoS®) and advanced users (FluoM®). The devices are modular, customizable, and allow for the analysis of a wide range of sample formats with up to four fluorescence channels and interchangeable objectives. The platform can be used both as a standalone system and integrated into a fully automated process, and can be applied to various fields for automating cell counting and cell analysis. In autoimmune diagnostics, it enables immunofluorescence assays as well as the determination of biomarkers, fluorescence patterns, and antibody titers through the use of AI-based image analysis software. In regenerative medicine and oncology, it can be used for quality control of stem cells and for counting circulating tumor cells, tumor-free DNA and RNA, or tumor-derived exosomes. In molecular genetics and cytology, the platform can assist in diagnosis, risk prediction, and treatment personalization, for example, through high-throughput screenings using fluorescence in situ hybridization.
