REVIVO Biosystems specializes in the development of dynamic tissue-on-chip models for skin penetration, efficacy and toxicity studies. The 4-dimensional chip models (REVex™) are compatible with various tissue samples (such as skin biopsies, synthetic membranes or organotypic 2D/3D cultures) and can therefore be used in a number of different studies. To optimize the study process and the significance of the results, the company has developed the fully automated test system ReleGO™. The screening platform enables the simultaneous examination of up to 12 different chip models. If necessary, additional test systems can be operated in parallel. The ReleGO™ machine also creates in vivo-like conditions by simulating blood flow. Through the controlled perfusion of the microfluidic models, the survival time of the cells can be extended up to 2 times compared to other methods. In summary, REVIVO Biosystems' chip technology offers a comprehensive and easy-to-use approach to conducting long-term studies with complex tissue models, reducing human error through automation processes and helping to improve the accuracy of pharmaceutical predictions.
