The synthetic, anatomically accurate torso consists of the abdomen, pelvis and lower part of the thorax. Anatomic landmarks allow human-relevant training like palpation of the abdomen, auscultation, and percussion elements of the abdominal or gastrointestinal examination. The respiratory movement of the liver and spleen is displayed and the integrated MP3 player produces bowel sounds or renal and aortic bruits. Interchangeable organs with pathologies teach trainees the identification of different abnormalities like carcinoma, liver metastasis, lymphoma, aortic aneurysm, ovarian cyst or enlarged kidneys.
