The VATS Trainer is a left-sided hemithorax derived from patient CT data. It offers all pertinent landmarks for skills development in thoracoscopic lobectomy and lung resection surgeries. The replaceable, inciseable skin and muscle element supports trocars and are comprised of mimetic tissue. Ribs may be palpated beneath the soft tissue for procedural port placement. A spine and diaphragm are present. The trainer is portable and hence offers high flexibility.
