The highly detailed synthetic abdomen model comes with vascularized organs and is suitable for both laparoscopic and open procedures. The landscape of the retroperitoneal organs provides an anatomical reference. Full-scale organs include the liver, gall bladder, spleen, anterior bony pelvis, urinary bladder, ureters, and pelvic floor muscles. All organs as well as the skin is replaceable so each user can practice every single surgery step by itself. Oral and anal access is possible for device introduction through the mouth and oesophagus and rectum. Possible surgery procedures are hemicolectomies, lower anterior resection, appendectomy, gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, Roux–en-Y gastric bypass and ventral hernia repair.
