The SynDaver Surgical Model provides a hands-on surgical simulation thanks to its complete and functional musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory and gastrointestinal systems. Like a 3D jigsaw puzzle, most muscles, bones, vascular components and organs are removable and replaceable. Made from water, salts and fibres, the individual organ tissues mimic the essential mechanical and physical properties of live tissue. With modifications, the SynDaver Surgical Model can be used to learn a wide variety of procedures, including laparoscopic surgery, coronary stent placement, central line placement, bowel resection, appendectomy and many more.
