The ASKION C-line® is a modular biobanking system for cryogenic sample storage, designed for biobanks, biorepositories, and LN2-based sample collections. It covers key aspects of biobanking, such as controlled and reproducible freezing, sample transfer, storage, automation, documentation, as well as consulting and useful accessories. The system supports semi- to fully automated workflows, handling anywhere from a few to millions of samples, and includes six independently operating freezers with temperatures as low as -130°C. It is fully scalable and expandable, contamination-free, and available as a medical device.
