The aim of this study was the development of a non-invasive cancer biomarker sensor that offers high accuracy, low cost, and is time-saving. The electrochemical immunosensor design strategy involves the immobilization of an anti-HSP70 antibodies on a nanocomposite-modified electrode via chemical coupling.
Impedance measurements of HSP70 on the developed immunosensor showed an increase in impedance with an increase in HSP70 concentration. The immunosensor was also effective in detecting HSP70 at very low concentrations in a lung adenocarcinoma cell line and to monitor changes of the HSP70 concentration following Paclitaxel treatment.
The developed sensor holds the potential to detect the HSP70 biomarker in organ-on-a-chip and clinical applications.
