The gall bladder series is compatible with the laparoscopic training device to provide trainees with the opportunity to practise laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The lifelike anatomy and response to cutting and dissection as well as vessels filled with synthetic gall bladder fluid allow a realistic surgery event. Besides a normal gall bladder, there are pathological versions available with bifurcated cystic artery, short cystic duct, wide common bile duct and stones for exploration. Cholangiogram catheter insertion and stone retrieval can be performed.
