Portable laparoscopic surgery training

Company
FasoLab, Chiba, Japan
The artificial abdomen is designed in a convex shape to replicate the pneumoperitoneum which is typical for laparoscopic procedures. 73 holes in the abdomen offer various ways to the internal organs with which the simulator can be filled in order to practice surgeries. 15 different organ models are available to train procedures, e.g. skin for coverage of the synthetic abdomen, biliary tract and jejunum, pancreas and others. A wide range of procedures throughout general surgery, gynaecology, urology, colon and rectal surgery and other types of operations can be replicated. All models are compatible with standard surgery instruments as well as with devices needed for robotic surgery.
