MatTek’s EpiDerm is a ready-to-use, highly differentiated 3D tissue model consisting of normal, human-derived epidermal keratinocytes. Cultured at the air-liquid interface, EpiDerm allows for the evaluation of topically applied compounds, chemicals, pharmaceutical and cosmetic/personal care product ingredients and final formulations. Suitable for skin irritation and corrosion testing, as well as for the assessment of the skin irritation potential of extracts of medical devices (ISO 10993). Validated and regulatory accepted under TM2008-01 (EU) and TM1998-03 (EU) by EURL ECVAM (TSAR list), OECD test No. 431 (skin corrosion), 439 (skin irritation) and 498 (phototoxicity).
