The Suture Tutor consists of a training kit and an online course with 11 modules according to the Intercollegiate Surgical Skills Program (UK). The hands-on course teaches basic instrument handling, needles and sutures, knot tying, incision of skin and subcutaneous tissue, local anaesthesia, wound cleaning, suturing techniques and aftercare. More than 400 video clips and 40 tutorials are included. it also comes with a skin pad and jig, 10 sutures, dissecting forceps, a needle holder, a scalpel, suture scissors and a basic knot-tying trainer.
